MultiSpeak API

This section is provided as a technical reference. Most users will not need to work with the methods described here.

Of the MultiSpeak service methods specified in interface 9 (Outage Analysis-SCADA), VTScada supports only the ones needed to interoperate with Milsoft’s DisSPatch™ Outage Management System.

Milsoft has developed its MultiSpeak web service using the MultiSpeak 4.1.6 standard. The web service model defined by the standard uses the Soap 1.1 protocol as the message format and HTTP as the transport protocol.

 

The DisSPatch system is able to invoke the following methods on a connected VTScada application:

• PingURL
• GetAllSCADAPoints
• GetMethods
• GetSCADAAnalogByScadaPointID
• GetSCADAStatusByScadaPointID

 

VTScada may invoke the following methods on a connected DisSPatch system:

• GetMethods
• PingURL
• SCADAAnalogChangedNotification
• SCADAStatusChangedNotification
