Roster Control Status Widget

* Does not use the Style Settings tag.

Monitor the status information of rosters in the application and force a roster out of a failed state. A reset button will become enabled if a roster is in a failed state. Click the enabled reset button to kick the roster out of its failed state. This widget is subject to realm and Global Tag & Area filtering.

You can find this widget in the palette folder: Tools >> System Status Tools

There are no user-configurable options available in the properties dialog for this widget. You don't need to link this widget. Active Roster tags in your application will be listed. This widget will show the Default Roster but only if it is the Active Roster in the Default Area.

The Roster Control Status display will be blank while you are working in Idea Studio. Refer to the live page to see the status display.

Area

An area is selected during the configuration of a roster tag when it is necessary to specify groups of alarms. This only becomes necessary when you want to send notifications for specific alarms to a specific roster of operators. Only one roster in a given area can be active at a time. If no area is specified, "Default" becomes the default.

Status

Idle There is currently no active roster activity.
Notifying The roster is in the notification process.
In Success Delay The roster has successfully completed the notification process and has paused for a specified delay.
In Failure Delay The roster has failed to complete the notification process and has paused for a specified delay.

Active Roster

Only one roster in a given area can be active at a time. This column displays the current active roster. If no roster is active in a given area, Default Call-Out Off will be active and will be the displayed "Active Roster".

Notification Stage

- There is currently no active roster activity.
Delay for N seconds The roster is waiting for a configured amount of time to pass.
Calling CONTACT on NUMBER

Where CONTACT = the name of the contact given in the roster and NUMBER/EMAIL = actual contact information.

This stage describes who is currently being contacted, by what means and their actual contact information.

Paging CONTACT on NUMBER
Email CONTACT on EMAIL
Texting CONTACT on NUMBER

Reset

If a roster is In Failure Delay, the reset button will be enabled. Click the reset button to end the delay and kick the roster out of the failure status.
