Icons That Describe Tags

Many of the tags shown in the browser will have symbols drawn in front of them. These tell you something about how the tags were created. You can hover over each symbol in the browser to see a tool-tip definition.

Configuration Field Colors, seen within each tag, also provide useful information

Symbol Meaning
Has child tags. This is a parent tag.
Any tag instance that you have created directly. Not one of the default tags, and not generated automatically like the child tags of a MultiSmart Station.
An automatically-generated tag, within which you have overridden one or more of the default parameter values.

The blue dot can have either of the following meanings:

1) In an automatically-generated tag structure, these are ad hoc tags. They are only available in the particular instance of the parent tag being provided. The other tags are static children that will always be there.

2) In a tag structure generated by the OPC UA address assist tool, this indicates a node of subtype "Property".

Disabled. The start condition evaluates to FALSE, or you have explicitly disabled the tag.
Visible only when the Show Disabled option is selected.
