The clear button is used with other form-related widgets. When clicked, it clears all values filled in the data entry widgets with "Include in Form" enabled on the same page. For all intents and purposes, this blank value is essentially 'Invalid'.
The properties dialog for the Clear Button widget:
Font
The font used to display the label. Defaults to the current system font.
Label
Text to display on the button. Defaults to "Clear".
Confirmation Dialog
If selected, the operator must confirm the action before all values are cleared.
