New Features in Version 12.2.04

- VTScada Rate of Change tags now have the option to calculate their values locally without synchronization, reducing unnecessary RPC traffic in distributed systems.
- A new application setting, OPCServerRequestRateThreshold, has been added that will suppress publishing from the OPC Classic Server during periods of high subscription volume.
- Pages that a user cannot access will no longer appear in their page menu if HideInaccessiblePages is set to true.
New Features in Version 12.2.01
- The VTScada Batch and Recipe Management system now refers to recipe Ingredients as recipe Parameters in order to match the ISA 88 standard terminology.
- It is now possible to configure a default tag for any given *ReferenceType (e.g. *Driver, *Publisher, etc.) in the properties of an application. If no ancestor of that type is found, the reference will default the specified default tag for that type. This can be done in Settings.Startup in a [DefaultTagReferences] section where each unique *ReferenceType is a property whose value is the Name or UniqueID of a tag. Bonus: As a result of these changes, Tag Area Filtering can now use areas that have spaces.
- VTScada now allows for sibling tag linking for tag present at the root of the tag tree.
- VTScada now has hooks which disable all UI for acknowledging, shelving, and unshelving alarms.
- The Alternate ID for logging into an alarm notification voice call can be spoken if the application is configured to use Twilio.
- There is now support for loading and rendering SVG images.
- Users can now scan a QR code to activate or deactivate VTScada licenses on machines that are not connected to the Internet.

- TCP transmit buffer sizes in VTScada are now dynamically managed by Windows for better performance.
- Tag Browser performance has been significantly increased in applications with realm filtering. Performance has also been improved when showing all children of a tag, and/or filtering by just type or area.
- Alarms can now be filtered by custom fields by default, with support for user-defined filtering via AlarmFilterHook.

- All I/O tag types that support publishing now have a Publisher parameter that can be set to the name of a Publisher tag to which the I/O tag will publish its values. The parameter defaults to *Publisher so that the Publisher tag can be part of the ancestry of the I/O tag.
- VTScada now supports publishing using MQTT SparkplugB.
- The Report tag now supports a server list option, which improves redundancy and continuity for report generation.
- VTScada now supports sending historian data across a Data Diode device.
- An information dialog has been added to the tag properties dialog that makes it easier to view and copy the Name, UniqueID and Tag_ID values of a tag.
- A new Address Assist has been created for selecting Workstation Status Driver addresses.
- The display of digital plot lines in the Historical Data Viewer has been improved.
- VTScada now supports the retrieval of Current, Active, Disabled, Shelved, Suppressed and Unacked alarm tables as well as Control Locks, Tokens and Token Requests from a VTScada application using SQL queries.
- Instead of always exporting the full tag tree from the Export/Sync Tags panel, VTScada now supports restricting the export to just a subtree. This allows for faster exports and imports when dealing with just a subset of the tags.
