Imagine, SCADA system status’s, alarms, and trends hovering over your equipment showing real-time information. We are not far from it now. Using VTScada software and the Microsoft HoloLens, we demonstrate how augmented reality might transform the roles of plant operators and managers in the not-so-distant future.
